Have you heard of the AT&T Pioneers? This group is a network of telecom volunteers in Canada and the U.S. who help society through education, life enrichment, environment, and health and human services. Founded in 1911 as the Telephone Pioneers of America, they are now more than 620,000 members strong of men and women committed to serving communities. Pioneers are the world’s largest corporate volunteer organization. This non-profit charitable organization’s members are actively employed and/or retired in the telecommunications industry. More than 10 million volunteer hours are used annually to respond to individual needs in their communities.

The AT&T Pioneers of Atlanta Chapter named Amy’s Place as their Community Engagement Recipient for 2018, and presented a $5,000.00 donation to us on Saturday, October 20th. We are humbled with this selection, grateful for the donation, and committed to using these funds for families who benefit from the programming we provide at Amy’s Place. Special thanks to Ramona Hays for nominating Amy’s Place and to everyone who made this happen!
